Yes. A feature wall, small room, ceiling or a few areas of woodwork can be quoted individually. Tell us the approximate size, surface condition and desired finish. If loose trim or a sticking door also needs attention, include it so small repairs can be considered before decoration.

We agree who supplies paint and preparation materials before booking. If you already have paint, send the brand, product, finish, colour and quantity. The coating needs to suit the surface and condition. Choosing a colour alone does not establish which primer or preparation the job needs.

The original paint brand, colour and finish help, but a touch-up can still show because of ageing, sheen, texture or application differences. An exact colour name does not guarantee an invisible patch. We discuss whether a local repair will be acceptable or repainting the whole wall would give a more even result.

Minor filling and preparation can be included. Send photos showing both the damage and the surrounding surface, and say what caused it if known. Widespread loose plaster, recurring cracks or damp may need separate assessment before painting. The quote should identify the preparation as well as the coats of paint.

The cause needs addressing first. Painting over an active leak, ongoing damp or an unstable coating can lead to the same problem returning. We assess whether the surface is ready for decoration and explain when another repair is needed. A stain treatment is not a repair for the source of moisture.

Touch-dry, ready to recoat and fully cured are different stages. A surface that feels dry may still be too early to overcoat, wash or leave in prolonged contact with another painted surface. Use the exact product's instructions and the actual room conditions to plan the work.
