Taps, showers & water filters

We fit and replace kitchen, basin and bath taps, compatible shower heads and hoses, and under-sink water filters. We also maintain filter-tap systems and replace compatible cartridges. Send the product details and a photo of the accessible connections so we can confirm the work.

Filter work covers under-sink and filter-tap systems only. Reverse osmosis, whole-house treatment, water softeners and specialist water-quality testing are outside this service. Electric showers, concealed valves and larger shower-system changes are not part of a standard fitting quote.

Jobs we can help with

  • Kitchen sink tap installation and replacement
  • Bathroom basin and bath tap fitting
  • Compatible mixer-tap replacement
  • Shower-head and shower-hose replacement
  • Suitable under-sink and dedicated filter-tap installation
  • Compatible three-way kitchen-tap fitting
  • Filter cartridge changes and model-specific maintenance
  • Tap and filter work planned together where suitable

Under-sink water filters and filter-tap systems

We assess new under-sink filter installations, dedicated drinking-water taps and compatible three-way taps. The system, tap, connections and available cupboard space need to work together, with enough room for future servicing. Any new mounting hole or worktop alteration is agreed separately before booking.

Maintenance is specific to the exact filter model. It can include a compatible cartridge change, the manufacturer's specified preparation or cleaning, and checks of accessible connections and operation. Follow the cartridge's stated interval or capacity and relevant conditions; there is no single replacement schedule for every filter.

Our current filter offer is limited to under-sink and filter-tap systems. Reverse osmosis, whole-house treatment, water softeners and specialist water-quality testing are excluded. Share the make, model and last service date using our tap and filter preparation guide.

How the job comes together

  1. Check the fitting and access

We review the existing fitting or filter, product details and access to establish what the installation or maintenance needs.

  2. Agree the connections and scope

We discuss compatibility, isolation, correct service parts and what is included before the work goes ahead.

  3. Fit or service and check

We complete the agreed work and product-specific preparation, check operation and accessible connections, and discuss the applicable maintenance instructions.

What helps us quote

Include your postcode and as many of these details as you have:

  • Photos of the existing tap or shower accessory and the surrounding area
  • A photo of accessible under-sink connections, without removing fixed panels
  • The tap, shower accessory or filter model, product link and instructions
  • Whether you need installation, replacement, a cartridge change or help with a fault
  • For an existing filter, its cartridge code and last-change date if known

Have photos ready if you can. Start with the form below and we can discuss any extra details or pictures needed for the quote.

What affects the cost?

An accessible kitchen mixer, taps behind a fitted bath panel and a filter cartridge change involve different work. Access, connections, isolation and product compatibility affect the quote. We agree the fitting or maintenance scope, parts and any product-specific preparation before the visit.

  • Type of fitting, connections and compatibility with the water system
  • Access beneath the sink or basin, or behind the bath
  • Existing pipework, compatible parts and any agreed mounting-hole or making-good work
  • Filter model, cartridge specification and installation versus maintenance

Before the visit

Clear the relevant cupboard where practical and keep the fitting, instructions and supplied parts together. Leave existing pipework and filters connected. Tell us about leaks, stiff isolation valves, poor flow or restricted bath access before the visit. Replacement cartridges must match the system; do not buy on appearance alone or force a valve to prepare for the quote.
